Sanding
Sanding 3 grits of sandpaper at 70% effort does not last the same as sanding 6 grits of sandpaper at 100% effort, but looks almost the same when the car paintwork is delivered. Time consumed could be hours apart. Moreover, if sanding is not done properly, the paintwork becomes more prone to stone chips in the future. On top of that, using the wrong grit sanding mark will be left behind permanently. A good sanding work will prevent wavey on panels with automotive putty. A wavey surface can make a good paintwork looks like an accident vehicle. We don’t want to reduce our car value over a poor paintwork.

Putty & Primer
